At Grampa Bill and Gramma Gail for Everyone, we provide families who are struggling to get gifts for their kids during Christmas. Our aim is to help every child experience the joy of Christmas no matter their parents situation. We believe that every child deserves to have a happy holiday season, and we strive to make that a reality for families in need. We provide gifts for children with sensory issues and toys for new borns up to 18 years olds. Join us in spreading hope, love, joy and making a difference in our community this year!
About Us
Grampa Bill, who just turned 76 in October, is more of a behind the scenes type of guy due to his childhood experiences. He was teased and picked on and consequently became a loner.. He is the type of guy who likes to get into mischief ,but with a partner. He prefers to be a follower and leaves the leading up to Gramma Gail because “she does a much better job at it then I do.” He does not care to stand out and often refers people to Gramma Gail rather then answer a question himself. He has his own opinions on things, but often prefers not to express them.
Gramma Gail, who will turn 74 in February, will tell you that she is shy, and she is, in groups of people that she isn't familiar with; however put her into the same group of people and ask her to talk about Grampa Bill & Gramma Gail For Everyone and she could probably talk you ear off. The nonprofit is her passion. If she had her way she would be out collecting toys 24 hours a day 7 days a week Grampa often gets onto her about spending too much of their personal money on the children, but he is right there beside her, approving purchases.
Grampa Bill and Gramma Gail, that is the way they introduce themselves to every one they meet and they love it when some one calls out “Hi Grampa Bill or Gramma Gail”. In the course of conversation with them they will both tell you that what they do, they do for the children, by the grace of God. God is very important in their lives. Grampa Bill has been known to say “I will continue doing this until my body says stop”
At an event, Gramma is the easy one to pick out, she is scurrying around on her electric wheelchair overseeing the event and giving the little ones that do happen to come with their parents a ride on her knee. (Parents are encouraged not to bring their little ones, but sometimes they just don't have a choice) Grampa Bill on the other hand my be a little harder to find. However this year all volunteers and Grampa Bill & Gramma Gail will be wearing special green vests.

In partnership with First Christian Church of Tacoma we have been able to provide a safe space for each family to find the perfect gift for their children and increase the capability to help more families each year. We helped over 2000 children with Christmas gifts in 2022. Our goal for 2023 is 2800.
